Apply red thread lock to all fasteners before tightening to prevent loosening during use. When tightening the linkage rod ends, the nut MUST go on the backside and red thread lock must be applied before tightening. Use the 8mm and 10mm wrenches to snug the hardware - do not overtighten. Check for smooth shifting motion and ensure proper clearance around the shifter and linkage before riding. Notes: Designed specifically for Kawasaki KLX140 models. The backside nut must remain tight - periodically check after the first few rides. |
